02.06.2026 | Recognition in a prestigious sustainability rating: EcoVadis honors ACPS Automotive sites
Sustainability and responsible corporate governance are now central components of
modern industrial companies. Such is the case for ACPS Automotive, the European market and technology leader in trailer hitches for passenger cars, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles. For their structured sustainability and management processes, the ACPS Automotive sites in Kecskemét (Hungary) and Querétaro (Mexico) have now been awarded a Bronze rating in the prestigious EcoVadis sustainability rating. With this result, ACPS Automotive has achieved an impressive score in the EcoVadis sustainability rating, confirming the positive development of both sites.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s best-known providers of sustainability assessments for companies. Assessments cover the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The assessment is based on international sustainability standards and analyzes how systematically and holistically companies embed their environmental and social goals, processes, and procedures into their corporate management. At the same time, the EcoVadis sustainability rating creates greater transparency along global supply chains.
With approximately 2,200 employees and eleven locations in Europe, North America, and Asia, ACPS Automotive develops and manufactures innovative mounting and carrier systems for international automotive manufacturers as well as the global aftermarket. Sustainability and responsible corporate governance are of central importance both within international corporate structures and throughout global value chains.
Company-wide Sustainability Strategy “Driving4Sustainability”
As an internationally positioned automotive supplier, ACPS Automotive is continuously working to systematically integrate sustainability into existing corporate and production processes. The foundation for this is the company-wide sustainability strategy under the slogan “Driving4Sustainability,” through which ACPS Automotive consolidates its activities in the areas of employees, environment & carbon footprint, products & supply chain, and social engagement.
The goal is to anchor sustainability in the international corporate group in a long-term and
measurable way. This includes, among other things, responsible procurement processes, the
continuous development of environmental and energy standards, and clear measures to reduce the CO₂e footprint.
EcoVadis sustainability rating confirms ACPS Automotive's successful sustainability
processes
The EcoVadis rating now confirms the ongoing improvement of sustainability and management processes, particularly at the sites in Hungary and Mexico. Compared to the previous assessment, both plants improved in all four evaluation areas. Kecskemét achieved 64 points, earning the bronze medal that EcoVadis awards to the top 35 percent of assessed companies. Querétaro scored 69 points, placing it also among the top 35 percent of companies evaluated worldwide.
“For us, sustainability is a long-term development process and an important component of modern corporate management,” says Tanja Radloff, Global Sustainability Manager at ACPS Automotive. “The EcoVadis assessment helps us continuously refine our processes and actively meet international requirements for responsible corporate and production structures.”
With the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, ACPS Automotive is sending another clear signal of its
commitment to the long-term development of its international sites and its consistent focus on responsible and sustainable business processes.
