Pfeil Text Einleitung
Taking responsibility. Shaping the future.
Sustainability is far more than a trend for ACPS Automotive – it is an integral part of our corporate culture and influences our day-to-day practices.
As a market and technology leader in the field of towbar systems, we develop, produce and distribute solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, safety and technological innovation – whilst taking responsibility for people, the environment and society.

Thinking sustainably – acting holistically
We take into consideration all aspects of sustainability –
ecological, economic and social.

We believe that sustainable practices form the basis for long-term economic success and enable us to make a real contribution for future generations. This holistic approach is anchored in our corporate policy and serves as a guideline for responsible and sustainable practices in all areas of our company.

Michael Weiss

"For us, sustainability is far more than just an integral part of our strategy; sustainability is a value that is actively lived throughout our organization. It stands for the responsible use of resources, for reliability towards our employees and partners – and for our conviction that sustainable practices are the foundation to long-term business success."

Employees
Realising trust, diversity and development

Our employees are our most valuable asset, which is why we focus on promoting work/life balance, health and safety, and offering a wide range of opportunities for personal and professional development through targeted training and qualifications.
Regular employee activities strengthen team spirit and our sense of community.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees is a fundamental prerequisite for all our activities. This is why we are constantly striving to ensure and continuously improve health and safety in all work areas.
Since 2024, our systemic approach has been validated group-wide by independent certification according to EN ISO 45001.
Our business practices and respectful interaction with one another are of utmost importance to us. These principles are firmly anchored in the ACPS Code of Conduct, which guides our day-to-day practices. It is based on the international standards of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Code of Conduct of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA).

Environment & footprint
Consciously shaping the use of resources and energy

We are pursuing a clear goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2040 at the latest. We have already reached an important milestone on this path: from 2026 onwards, all production locations will be powered by 100 % renewable electricity.
In addition to switching to renewable energy sources, reducing our energy consumption is one of our main areas of focus. In this regard, the Kecskemét location has been certified to EN ISO 50001 since 2017. Our German locations are currently undergoing the certification process.
In addition to our certifications, we have a very good B rating on the SUPPLIERASSURANCE platform (NQC Ltd) and we participate in the sustainability assessment carried out by EcoVadis (EcoVadis SAS).

We place particular emphasis on raising awareness among our employees about environmentally conscious behaviour – especially with regard to reducing CO2e emissions in our everyday work.
Furthermore, a wide range of measures are being implemented to promote and increase biodiversity to ensure the sustainable and responsible use of natural resources.
Our environmental management system has been certified to EN ISO 14001 since 2013 and is an integral part of our business.

Products & supply chain
actively driving innovation and responsibility

We take responsibility for ensuring a more sustainable supply chain, shaping our collaboration with suppliers in line with our sustainability strategy. To this end, we implement binding sustainability standards (SUPPLIERASSURANCE: SAQ) in the supply chain, consider selected sustainability criteria when selecting suppliers and implement assessments.
These are based on long-standing, partnership-based relationships, a clear code of conduct and systematic supplier development.

By using natural resources responsibly, we aim to reduce material and water consumption in all production processes through efficient methods, as well as ensuring reuse and recycling. Overall, we are consistently working to create a more sustainable supply chain.

Social commitment
making a contribution and working together to make a difference

As a global manufacturer for the automotive industry, we are aware of our responsibility – both in our immediate environment and at society level.
We focus on long-term cooperation with schools, clubs and local organisations in the region in order to create sustainable positive impact.

We make a key contribution through our annual support projects. Our employees are actively involved in the process and have the opportunity to contribute project proposals from their own communities.
We also encourage any volunteer work that our employees engage in, which strengthens both the regional community and social cohesion within the company worldwide.
