We are committed to social and environmentally conscious action towards our employees, business partners and society. In this way, we want to make our contribution to sustainable development. This is demonstrated not only in our production processes by compliance with the applicable environmental regulations and careful handling of raw materials and energy. We also see this responsibility in developing products that lead to continuous savings in use. Through intelligent lightweight construction solutions, we make a significant contribution to optimising the weight of vehicles and thus to reduce CO2 emissions. Our system for the continuous improvement of our sustainability performance is certified in accordance with the environmental standard ISO 14001 and the energy standard ISO 50001. For us, responsible action and economic success go hand in hand.
Environmental and recycling requirements
starting with product development
We take environmental and recycling requirements into account as early as at product development stage. Through intelligent lightweight construction solutions, we make a significant contribution to optimize the weight of vehicles and thus to reduce CO2 emissions. In addition, we attach great importance to conserving natural resources and using energy efficiently. Over the years, we have continuously expanded our work in these areas.
Through the environmental certification of DIN EN ISO 14001, we have implemented a program that includes continuous improvement and the following goals:
- Saving energy
- Waste reduction
- Improvement of CO2 balancing
The energy efficiency management system DIN EN ISO 50001 enables continuous improvement of energy-related performance, energy efficiency and energy saving.
Packaging Act (VerpackG)
With the Packaging Act coming into force on 1st January 2019, all manufacturers and retailers were obliged to ensure that the packaging they put into circulation was later taken back and recycled. ACPS Automotive fully complies with this obligation by registering with the central packaging register LUCID and submitting a quantity report. Under the registration number DE5716270808296, our report can be viewed transparently by everyone.
The ACPS Automotive Group's construction projects - such as the construction of the new headquarters in Ingersheim - take into account the latest sustainability standards. The new building will be awarded the gold plaque of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). The DGNB certificate is unique worldwide and is one of the best-known certification systems for sustainable construction.
The European Chemicals Regulation REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, Restriction of Chemicals) has been in force since 1st June 2007 and serves to protect the environment and human health. The REACH regulation applies to all chemical substances, to those used in industrial processes and also to those used in our everyday lives. In order to comply with the regulation, the risks associated with the chemicals must be identified and regulated.
As ACPS Automotive is a so-called ‘downstream’ user (we are not a manufacturer or importer of chemicals, only a user), we fulfil our duty of care and information towards our customers by providing a corresponding material data sheet (MDB) on the IMDS platform, in which all substances contained in our products are listed.

our true strength
"One team. One goal. One approach." is our guiding principle. Further simplified, this means that we at ACPS Automotive would like to encourage entrepreneurship and promote co-operation and motivation. Equally important for us is the implementation of a lean approach and the promotion of the diversity of our employees and teams. We have thus laid the foundation for a corporate culture in which everyone can participate and is heard.
Occupational safety at ACPS Automotive
At ACPS Automotive, our goal is to create optimal conditions for the safety of our employees. We are convinced that every accident can be avoided and our holistic approach starts with the prevention of unsafe situations at the workplace. Preventive occupational safety is an integral part of work.
Our company history of more than 60 years demonstrates that ACPS Automotive builds and maintains long-term business relationships with its customers and suppliers. Fair and competent cooperation plays a decisive role in the business relationship.
The topics of integrity and compliance have become increasingly important in this context. ACPS Automotive therefore has various compliance guidelines that serve as the basis for our (internal and external) cooperation.
